The Helpmin Accommodation, Conferencing Function Venue pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable and super affordable accommodation in our building which has a cosy home from home atmosphere. We specialise in large group bookings and can accommodate up to 143 people, we are ideal for school groups, sports teams, senior citizens groups, large budget tour groups, church retreats and conferences, business conferences and governmental departmental seminars. We also have budget rooms most affordable for backpackers. Basically we have enough rooms to cater for various needs, from the individual visitor who might need a single room for privacy up to four persons in a room for family members or friends who wish to be together in one large room.
We have 32 bedrooms, ranging in size from two to four persons in a room, two flats with a fully equipped self–catering kitchen, fully furnished lounge and dining room facility. All our standard rooms have en–suite bathrooms. Our budget rooms have a washbasin in each room and visitors occupying these rooms will use communal bathrooms and toilets; they will be “same sex” rooms if used by back packers
For groups who wish to do their own catering, we have a self–catering kitchen and a dining room that can seat up to 90 persons.
- Strictly no smoking is allowed in the bedrooms and elsewhere inside the building, including our communal toilets and cloak room facilities. A designated smoking area is located at the parking area at the rear of the building. No smoking is allowed at the front of the building. A surcharge of R1000 per room will be levied and invoiced to you for cleaning of the room should evidence of smoking be detected. Charges are not limited to R1000 per room should there be permanent damage caused by cigarette burns; repair or replacement costs would apply in this case and charged above and beyond the R1000 cleaning costs.
- Strictly no alcoholic beverages may be stored or consumed on the premises
- It remains the responsibility of the organiser/leader to inform all members of their group regarding the above rules prior to arrival.
- No visitors are allowed in our bedrooms for security and other reasons. Visitors may be met in our restaurant.

All profit raised by Helpmin Hotel is used to fund H.E.L.P Ministries charity projects, such as the Soup Kitchen Project which feeds 5000 school children and 1000 unemployed adults with soup and bread on a DAILY BASIS in Cape Town, South Africa.
